With baseline data that 90% of those who make a New Year’s Resolution fail by March, the communications team at Kirklees Council created a highly successful series of 32 automated emails, sent over a 66-day period, that local residents could subscribe to in order to help them keep their resolutions and improve quality of life through more healthful habits. With its constant support and friendly (never preachy) tone, the team reported an odds-beating 29% failure rate (vs 90% the failure rate mentioned).

By now many of you have received invitations in the mail to complete the 2020 Census. Your response shapes decisions about how more than $675 billion in federal funding is distributed annually to local communities, like ours, to support schools, fire and emergency services, and healthcare.
While the Census continues to make adjustments based on the coronavirus outbreak, it is important to remember that you can complete the Census online from the safety of your home by going to 2020Census.gov. In addition, it can be completed by phone or by mail, and we encourage you to share with your neighbors. Filling out the 2020 Census is quick, easy, safe, and ensures that all of us are counted.
